Auldcathie landfill site, Winchburgh
PPCA Ltd is the agent for the planning application, currently lodged with West Lothian Council, for the restoration of the former Auldcathie landfill site at Winchburgh, Site restoration is directly linked to the wider strategic expansion of Winchburgh that gained planning permission in principle in April 2012.
Together with the client and other technical consultants, environmental monitoring and other information has been provided addressing issues such as gas migration and leachate control as part of the process of site restoration. Subject to consideration of final technical work, a decision on the application is imminent.
