PPCA Ltd were engaged by WSP Environmental to provide land use planning input into a planning application lodged with Angus Council for two 132m wind turbines at the GlaxoSmithKline Facility at Montrose.
Work involved providing land use planning advice to the client, negotiation with the Council Planning Department, input into the Environmental Impact Assessment accompanying the planning application and attendance at full public meetings to explain the reasoning behind the need for the development. The planning application was refused by the Council and PPCA Ltd lodged and provided land use planning input into the subsequent planning appeal.
